The PMD Alliance Continuing Medical Education Program exists to meet the educational needs of physicians, advanced practice providers, and other clinicians who care for patients with movement disorders. The expected outcomes of our program are improvements in the competence of learners as they apply new knowledge, tools, and strategies to the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with movement disorders.
Parkinson & Movement Disorder Alliance (PMD Alliance) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
This certification program ensures that elder care and long-term care providers have the tools they need to deliver outstanding care to people with Parkinson’s (PWPs). PMD Alliance's wholistic train-the-trainer model inducts advocates at each accredited facility, creating confidence for PWPs and their loved ones that staff will meet their challenges with compassion.
Support and exercise groups provide crucial connection, guidance, and resources to people with movement disorders. With in-depth trainings and monthly virtual roundtables, In Sync!® gives leaders the tools, training, and one-on-one guidance they need to run lasting, enriching groups.
